Just a few days ago, Deacon Leo texted me photos of three infant girls whose guardian had brought them to the Messengers of Justice as a last resort to save their lives. Leo’s message that they were probably severely malnourished matched their visible condition in the photos. He asked me whether he should take them to the hospital. “No” being an impossible answer, I confirmed that HEAL would spare no cost to save these girls’ lives even if it meant delaying plans for other crucial projects. At times like these, we must rely on God to come through in the face of our own limits.
