Home to Enhance African Life launched plans to build the Sr. Calista Utazi Memorial Medical Clinic, which will serve poor and marginalized orphans, widows, and rural villagers in southeastern Nigeria. The event was announced at the Oct. 13 HEAL Benefit in Chicago. The clinic pays tribute to Rev. Sr. Calista Utazi of the Messengers of Justice Congregation (MOJ). Sr. Calista died at age 39 due to lack of available medical care for her heart condition. The video below highlights Sister’s life, and HEAL’s plans for the clinic.
